Outdoor Warning System

The City of Frisco has a population of approximately 180,000. Frisco is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area and is located in both Collin and Denton counties in Texas. The city limits are 68 square miles and is approximately 25 miles from both Love Field and DFW International Airport.2018 project was to install and update the City of Frisco’s outdoor warning sys-tem software and add 6 new WPS2910 solar sirens as well as remove and re-place 8 older ATI systems sirens. The existing system of 34 sirens included a mixture of 26 Whelen Sirens and 8 ATI systems sirens. SafetyCom successfully completed this system upgrade in late September 2018
